Preparation instructions

Traditional: using a bamboo spoon, add approximately 1.5 g of matcha powder to a cup or bowl. Then pour in 100 ml of hot water at a temperature not exceeding 80°C. Whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk, making quick movements resembling the letter „M”, until a thick foam forms on the surface. If you prefer a milder taste, you can add a little more water.

Modern: Add a teaspoon of matcha (approximately 1.5 g) to a mug or glass, then add 100 ml of hot water at a temperature not exceeding 80°C and mix thoroughly. You can use a milk frother or another mixer to achieve a better consistency. Then top up the drink with water, milk or a plant-based drink – according to your preference.

Quick: add one serving of matcha (1.5 g) to a shaker or water bottle and pour in water or milk (100 ml). Close the container and shake it several times until the powder is thoroughly dissolved. Pour the drink into a serving vessel.
